PROFILE
A leading Banking organization is currently recruiting for a talented Quality Assurance Team Leader to join their dynamic organization.
 
 
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1.       Work closely with the Quality and Planning manager  to enhance and promote Quality Assurance within IT and all stages of development including requirement specification, analysis, development, deployment, transition to support, and user education; develop and maintain a productive working relationship with the head of ISRM and IT staff to encourage cooperation and teamwork towards quality goals.
2.       Maintain awareness of corporate mission, vision, values, goals and objectives; assist in evaluation the effectiveness of processes and systems; makes improvement recommendations on best practices and technologies.
3.       Establishes and maintains system test environments, release/build process, and defect tracking systems; work closely with developers to establish and embrace development conduct Application testing best practices such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, load testing, and technical reviews.
4.       Establishes and track quality related metrics; performs analysis of those metrics, and makes recommendation for improvements.
5.       Interact frequently with corporate-wide management, end-user, and external contacts on system testing and quality related issue.
6.       Provides single point of accountability for identifying how closely a system meets established requirements; establish how requirements are obtained and documented in order to help meet the bank quality-related goals.
7.       Develop test plans, and managers system testing for assigned technology projects.
 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE1.       Bachelor degree in Computer/ software development or equivalent.
2.       Minimum 6 years experience in software development, with 4+ years related to Banking application quality assurance including creation and use of formal test environment.
3.       Experience with Process Reengineering, and the development of ITD Policies and procedures.
4.       Experience with automated test tools, defect tracking systems, and related best practices.
5.       Proven ability to develop test plans and implement them either individually or by assembling and leading a team of testers.
6.       Knowledge of various IT Standards such as COBIT, ITIL/ISO20000, PMI, ISO9001, ISO27001, etc
7.       Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8.       Ability to learn and apply what is learned and to work well with others
9.       Experience with ISO 9001 (QMS) and ISO 2000 (Service Management)
10.   Experience in Sybase SQL, .Net, J2EE, VB, C#,  Oracle CRM, Mosaic, Power Builder, Perl
11.   Exposure to ISO 27001/27002, COBIT and ITIL standards
12.   Ability to think logically.
