Position Description:

Join our fast growing, highly motivated international team as a Web Service Deployment Manager in our Maps development group.

Nokia is launching a wide range of services under the Ovi.com domain. Maps on Ovi will be key part of this service offering. In this key leadership role you will work collaboratively with developers, product managers and senior management to coordinate service roll-out and ensure smooth commercial deployment. You will be responsible for Maps on Ovi deployment planning and execution as well as organizing all stakeholders by creating a deployment plan.

Success demands the ability to learn quickly, the willingness to lead in a fast changing environment and the know-how to adapt and apply knowledge into practice.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, physical sciences or related field with 8-12 years relevant experience
• Experience with complex, scalable web service development projects and web application deployment
• Knowledge of key web architectures stack and technologies including: SOA, Open Source, Apache WebServer, JBoss application server, Tomcat, Oracle, MySQL, JDK 1.x etc.
• Good decision making and execution capabilities
• Works independently with little supervision
