Sr. Software Engineer will be part of the company's ERP team handling the following roles:

    * Work with the customers and other stakeholders to understand their needs and goals and translate them into definitions, scenarios and quality of service requirements for the in-house ERP development team

    * Coordinate data collection, data verification, data migration and testing activities.

    * Conduct Functional and Modular testing for the ERP modules being developed

    * Ensure the ERP Modules are implemented in accordance with specifications set out, and function efficiently. 

    * Train and assist users in the use of the ERP and other third party software tools, e.g. for ad hoc reporting.

    * Responsible for the upkeep and trouble-free running of the in-house ERP and other mandatory functions related to these systems, such as year-end procedures for the Accounting and Inventory, etc

    * Provide on-going enhancements to MIS reports as well as ad hoc queries on statistics.

    * Evaluate, manage and track change requests from users.

    * Assist in creating and managing the user manual / technical documentation

    * Contribute to maintaining ERP standards, systems and processes.

Qualification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science (BE/B.Tech) / Master degree in Computer application (MCA) or equivalent

Desirable Certifications: MCSD, MCAD, MCDBA

Experience

At least 6 years of experience in implementation of enterprise-wide application systems with strong knowledge of Financial Accounting.
