Job Title	:	IT Support Engineer
Job Description	:	24x7 shift based operational environments providing level 1st level Support. Setup and monitor network, voice quality, signaling and server status alarms. Ensure proper monitoring of servers, SBCs, load balancers, storage, IP routers and switches, and IP circuits. Coordinate trouble shooting of network outages and trouble reports with Internet Service Providers, customers and other groups as needed. This may include performing circuit testing with the carrier and/or customer head-to-head. Primary point of contact for all incoming trouble reports, service requests and customer communication for any service-related issues. Trouble shoot network and software problems, including making test calls, logging into devices, querying devices, finding information, and generating reports, per defined procedures. Record details of all events in the CA Unicenter Service Desk System from detection to resolution. Participate in fault resolution, capacity planning and infrastructure. rollout and performance management processes. Submit shift duty handover report at the end of each shift. Follow up on all requests and update them in orderly manner. Evaluate tools and technologies that can improve operational efficiency and uptime. Perform other duties as assigned.
