| Job Description | Overall Objective: Network engineers are responsible for network management for our clients and their customers. The service consists in delivering change management in network infrastructure for the central team. A change is any modification to the managed IT environment, including the addition, the removal or the replacement of any component or service in that environment. The duty also includes 2nd. Line support based in notification of an incident not solved by first line incident management. The engineer takes complete ownership of this incident until full recovery of the service level. Responsibilities: Delivering change management in network infrastructure for the central team 2nd. line support based in notification of an incident not solved by first line incident management Solving technical incidents Tracing issues and delivering Solutions in time. Doing routine checks on Network health. Documentation of all the changes carried out within the infrastructure. Supporting other verticals of the department (e.g. Application management, Infrastructure management, etc. as and when required.) Doing maintenance work related to the Cisco Hardware etc. Creating Users and access levels on Cisco Devices. Installing and maintaining a SYSLOG server for logging purposes. Supporting the Service desk function (at desired levels) with Incident management, Problem management, and configuration management processes. |

| Profile | Minimum 2 years IT experience in UAE. Very good Technical Expertise in IP Networks (LAN, WAN, Security, Internet, IP Management). CCNP certification is required with 2 years active hands-on. Should have Background and experience with a service provider in last 3 years of active service. Experience in network support. Technical expertise on network monitoring tools. High technical expertise with Cisco Products & Protocols. English mandatory (Written, Spoken, Reading and Technical). Excellent assertive communication skills. Capacity to understand synthesis and clarify customer needs. Capacity to understand complex infrastructure. Global customer mindset, flexibility and teamwork oriented. ITIL Certified preferred. |
