VAC1569 - Technology Support Officer

Job Family: Information Technology Location: Jebel Ali, U.A.E. Division: DWCS Dub Trade - DEP Contract Type: Permanent

Job Purpose: Administration and maintenance of the department's solutions and services offered to customers and/or used internally at the highest levels of performance and excellence.

Key Accountability: Provide second-line technical support to the department's customer care and training teams to support the customers' needs Suggests alternative solutions to enhance the quality of provided services Handles the administration and maintenance functions of the department's back-end systems and provided services to fulfil the operations needs Assists in the planning ,design,documentation,and implementation of the department's system and online services to support business planning Assists in the organisation and inventory of all hardware and software resources to support business continuity Performs basic systems security adminstration functions, including creating and maintaining customer accounts

Job Context: The position is accountable for the day -to- day administration and maintenance of the department's IT infrastructure including adminstration and business operation of all systems,applications and service both used and offered by the department.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Minimum 1 year experience in a similar field Bachelor degree in IT or similar discipline Outstanding IT skills,specifically in operation and system adminstration Ability to work after hours, including nightly operation
