Accountabilities:: To maintain ISP applications Assist in enhancement of ISP services in terms of optimization, availability, capacity to ensure high performance levels and quality of serviceDesign and maintenance of ISP applications like messaging, DNS, portal, hosting. To oversee data backup and disaster recovery (DR) processes.Work with system administrators to support both corporate and consumer services. Providing technical expertise to the support team, and ISP operations team Responsible for usability testing, cross-platform compatibility testing etc for the new products and applications before deployment . Assist ISP operations team in performing regular monitoring and maintenance activities. Performing operations and acceptance tests for the new applications.Coordinate with vendors for the support issues.

Preferred Background:: BSc. Or equivalent Degree in computer Science.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:: 3 to 5 years experience in large ISPs in the area of Internet operations. Must be comfortable in Linux and Solaris Knowledge of various internet systems architecture and platforms. In-depth knowledge in ISP applications like web (SunONE/Apache), messaging (iPlanet), DNS (Bind), portal applications. Experience in installation and configuration of open source products. Good interpersonal and communication skills
