Front-End Developer

We are the fastest growing agency in the Middle East, specialising in technology and

interactive solutions. We are located in the Dubai Internet City (DIC), and were the first

company to set up offices in the DIC free zone. Our client base includes major government

organizations in the UAE, large domestic and multinational corporations. We provide

services like: Web-based application development, custom development, intranet and Web

site design and implementation, online marketing and advertising campaigns, Flash-based

site design and rich internet applications.

We are looking for a front-end web developer to join our team. This position is full time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Update and maintain Web sites for a number of our clients.

• Translate design mock-ups into XHTML pages

• Able to build rapid prototypes with XHTML/CSS

• Knowledge of CSS, XHTML and creating table-less Web sites

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and image optimisation for the Web

• Able to hand code HTML/XHTML, which validates against current Web Standards

• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues.

• Implementation of JS libraries/prototypes like Mootools, JQuery, Scriptaculous etc.

Must have:

• Excellent understanding and experience with Web site layouts and usability design

• Experience in using wireframes and other information architecture deliverables for

front-end development and prototyping

• At least 3+ years work experience

Nice to have:

• Experience with advanced JavaScript, PHP, DHTML, AJAX, or any other fashionable

acronyms.

• Experience with Textpattern or any other open-source CMS is a huge plus.

• Experience with Flash design/animation and a little bit of ActionScript
