Qtel provides range of telecommunications products including national, international, mobile GSM, Internet and Cable television services.

As the result of continuing organisational growth and extended service, we now seek a Graphic Designer for our Public Relations Department.

In this role, you will create all the art work and graphic designs for Qtel projecting high public image; provides support in advertisement and sales promotion campaigns.


Accountabilities:

Your job profile will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Creates all art work for in-house publications, cover pages for manuals, documents etc.
  • Designs and produces appropriate and attractive logos, stickers, posters etc., which are attractive to public and enhances Qtel's public image.
  • Prepares exhibition material, art designs, etc., to ensure public attraction. Also assists in Qtel's exhibitions, layout of stalls, entrants, etc., to make it attractive.
  • Produces artistic promotional materials focusing an occasions, products, services etc.
  • Designs all art work for Qtel's advertisements.
  • Designs attractive complimentary items, decides on the color combinations, graphic alignments, positioning and focuses points of attraction.
  • Ensures that graphic designs prepared for various purposes match the objectives, themes, occasions, functions, events, etc., and produces a lasting image among the public.
  • Provides assistance to sales promotion people to organize promotional campaigns, exhibitions, etc.
  • Provides input for budget preparation.
  • Takes responsibility of machines and equipment under the incumbent's control.
  • Performs any other related duties as required.
Preferred Background:

The ideal applicant should possess:

  • A Bachelor degree in fine arts.
Experience & Skills:

The ideal applicant should have:

  • 2 years experience in graphic designing/art publications.
  • High level of creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to produce memorable images.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective and strong communication skills in English.
  • Good team player.
