Director of IT: The Director of IT will be responsible for leading the conceptual and physical design of guest and back offfice for our exciting new brand (Brand X). You will also be responsible for the following:

Main Responsibilities: Concept Development: Works with consultants and vendors to design and develop the technology concept for brand X IT Brand Standards: Writes information technology standards for guest technology, business support systems and infrastructure for Brand X hotel Project Management of New Brand X Developments: Manages the IT project management of new Brand X hotels until a dedicated IT Manager / Director for the business is appointed this includes ensuring that standards are being implemented by developers, negotiating with vendors on IT related issues, negotiating with developers and owners representatives on IT related issues, coordinating the RFP processes for IT tenders with the developers and attend project meetings for all new developments Operating Model: Creates an IT operating and support model for Brand X and oversees the implementation of the operating model Relationship Management: Manages the Brand X IT teams, this may include a centralize team or hotel specific IT teams. Is the main liaison between Jumeirah Group IT and the Brand X management teamAdministration: Maintaining IT status files for all new Brand X developments in physical files as well as on the company’s Intranet. Develop and maintain templates related to new developments and IT brand standards Budgeting and planning: Assist the developers, owner’s representatives and operations in the preparation of pre-opening, construction, o, s & e, capital and operational budgets and manning guides | ||||
