SYSTEMS PROFESSIONALS

The UAE’s premier publisher of magazines and books is on the lookout for highly motivated professionals to join our ever-expanding team. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of commercial experience in bespoke enterprise systems and applications support, as well as experience in supporting enterprise-level customers and managing/planning successful projects. The candidate will be highly motivated, experienced and a skilled systems professional who will work as part of a team supporting the systems and environments. The role will require working closely with the Head of IT at a variety of levels to provide the highest calibre of technical service and support. Able to communicate on all levels, the candidate will show confidence, initiative, a commitment to solution and a high-level of customer service.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge and experience of the following:

• Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
• Must have MCSE 2003
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server Technologies such as Microsoft
• Clusters, Exchange, ISA, IIS, SQL, Active Directory Management
• Web Service & Database Management
• Microsoft Desktop Support, Hardware Builds, Installations, Upgrades and Infrastructure Design
• Apple Workstations (OS 10.4.x), XServe, XSAN & XRAID Infrastructure Support
• Knowledge of publishing applications such as Adobe CS 3.0, Extensis, Quark
• Nortel Technologies Certifications will be an added advantage
• It would be advantageous to have knowledge of ITIL

• Ensuring the availability of enterprise systems, applications and infrastructure by pro-active management, maintenance and monitoring
• Team leadership skills and a keen sense of responsibility
• Documentation, Policy Management & Management Reporting
