Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have 5+ years commercial experience of bespoke enterprise systems / applications support as well as experience of supporting enterprise-levels customers and managing / planning successful projects. The candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced and skilled systems professional who will work as part of a team supporting the enterprise systems and environments. The role will require working closely with Head of IT at a variety of levels to provide the highest quality technical services and support. Able to communicate to all levels of audience, the candidate will show confidence, initiative and have a solid commitment to quality of solutions and a high level of customer service.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge and experience of the following:
• Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science
• Must have MCSE 2003,
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server Technologies such as Microsoft Clusters, Exchange, ISA, IIS, SQL
• Active Directory
• Microsoft Desktop Support
• Networking (TCP/IP and related services)
• Web Services
• Database administration
• WINS, DNS and other related services.
• Hardware Builds, Installations and Upgrades
• Excellent customer facing and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience of Infrastructure design
• Apple Workstations (OS 10.4.x), XServe, XSAN & XRAID infrastructure support
• Knowledge of publishing applications such as Adobe CS 3.0, Extensis, Quark
• Nortel Technologies Certifications will be an added advantage
• It would be advantageous to have knowledge of ITIL

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Ensuring the availability of enterprise systems, applications and infra-structure by pro-active management, maintenance and monitoring
• Team leadership skills and a keen sense of responsibility are a must for this senior technical role
• Carrying out agreed support procedures
• Documentation, Policy Management & Management reporting

Requirements:
• Available to join immediately
• UAE Driving License

Candidate must be willing to work “out of hours”/late hours, including occasional weekends when necessary.
